How often should I clean my carpet?
This can depend on the amount of traffic on the carpet. Obviously, more traffic may require more frequent cleaning. Soil build-up combined with traffic breaks down your carpet's fibers. However, many of the major carpet mills today recommend professional cleaning at least once per year.
Keep in mind, the lighter the carpet color the more often you’ll want to clean it to maintain the color
What can you do about the pet odor in my carpet?
Pet odor issues should be treated as quickly as possible. A Cleaner Carpet Cleaner is very experienced with the treatment of pet odor problems.
Accidents are bound to happen! Even with a house trained pet, your carpets and upholstery are subject to addition abuse. We use a complete cleaning process to ensure pet stains are kept to a minimum. The sooner a pet stain is treated, the better the chances of avoiding permanent damage. If untreated, over time the odor can permeate into other areas of your home. Draperies, sheet rock, upholstered furniture, base-boards, even the concrete foundation are just a few of the materials that can absorb these odors.
With a urine stain, it is extremely important to not allow the stain to set into the multiple layers of your carpeting. With certain types of carpet fibers the urine can cause permanent dye structure damage that cannot be repaired. Although we cannot guarantee every pet stain can be removed, we use the most effective techniques available to professional carpet cleaners. For more information call us today.
What causes the black lines around the baseboards and under doorways?
This is caused by air trying to get passed this area of carpet such as when a door is closed and the heat or A/C comes on. As the air accelerates past this area, the soil is impacted with greater force and gets deep into the carpet fibers. This can be very difficult to remove.
It's important to try and prevent this by more frequent cleaning of this area. Be very careful around the doors where there are often tack strips and where nails may protrude slightly.
What is your carpet cleaning process?
A Cleaner Carpet Cleaner does most of the carpet cleaning with the "truckmounted hot water extraction" method and follows manufacturer's cleaning recommendations. For a list of manufacturers and their cleaning recommendations, visit our Manufacturer's Recommendations and Spotting Tips.

How wet can I expect my carpet to be when you're finished?
Although your carpet is thoroughly rinsed, it will be left only damp to the touch.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
This will depend on the room temperature and air flow but, average time is between 6 to 12 hours.
